Madera Rescue Mission Madera Rescue Mission has been providing radical hospitality to the least, the last, and the lost since 1987.

The Madera Rescue Mission is a faith based, Christ centered ministry that houses, feeds, and cloths those that are in need. In addition, we have an in-patient recovery program for those struggling with all issues that dominate ones life in a negative way.

Perseverance & Transformation
Today we celebrated Antonio and Sal as they completed nine months — three full quarters — of the Men’s Discipleship Fellowship. Month after month, these brothers have shown up with humility, hunger, and a desire to let God reshape their lives.

Their growth hasn’t been accidental — it’s been intentional, disciplined, and rooted in truth. We’re proud of the men they’re becoming.

✨ A Night of Hope, Brotherhood, and God’s Faithfulness — Madera Rescue Mission Banquet 2026 ✨

This past Thursday, October 1st, our community gathered for an unforgettable evening at the Madera Rescue Mission’s annual banquet and fundraiser — a night filled with gratitude, celebration, and powerful reminders that God is still transforming lives in Madera.

We celebrated our 2026 Men’s Discipleship Fellowship graduates, men who have walked through challenge, accountability, healing, and deep spiritual growth. Their courage to surrender, their willingness to be discipled, and their commitment to a new way of life inspired everyone in attendance. These men stood before us as living proof that hope is stronger than addiction, faith is stronger than fear, and God’s grace is stronger than the past. 🙌🔥

The evening also featured two incredible testimonies that reminded us of the long-term impact of the Mission:

💙 Jolene, a prior graduate, shared her journey from addiction and homelessness to earning two associate degrees and now working toward her bachelor’s. Her story is a testament to perseverance, God’s restoring power, and the truth that the Mission’s impact continues long after graduation.

💙 Pete, a 2024 graduate, shared how God has continued to shape his life. Today, he serves full-time on staff as the Men’s House Manager, pouring back into the very ministry that helped transform him. His leadership, compassion, and faithfulness are a blessing to the men we serve every day.

We also highlighted the daily ministry of the Mission — meals served, beds provided, classes taught, prayers lifted, and countless moments where God meets men and women in their brokenness and begins the work of restoration. Every testimony and every photo from the night reflects one truth: lives are being rebuilt one day at a time.

A heartfelt thank you to SPAN Construction for generously sponsoring this year’s banquet meal. Your partnership created a beautiful evening where our graduates, families, donors, and friends could gather and celebrate what God has done. Your support strengthens the Mission and the men and women we serve. 🙏🏽

To everyone who attended, prayed, donated, volunteered, or simply showed up — thank you. You are part of every transformed life. Your generosity fuels hope. Your presence reminds our men and women that they are not walking alone.

Scripture tells the story best:

📖 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Thursday night was a celebration of that truth — new creations standing tall, restored souls stepping forward, and a community united in faith and compassion.

Thank you, Madera, for believing in this work. Thank you for believing in these women and men. And thank you, graduates, for showing us what redemption looks like.

As always, we are proud to offer hand made products for sale to help support this vital ministry. We provide substance abuse recovery, behavioral health housing and of course shelter for the unhoused. Thank you Madera for your love and support.

Yesterday we rejoiced with our brother Isaac as he graduated from our 12‑month Men’s Discipleship Fellowship. Surrounded by family and friends, Isaac stood as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, steady growth, and the power of choosing Jesus day after day. We are so proud of him and excited for all God has ahead. 🔥🙏

🎉 Rally for Recovery — 4th Annual 🙌
This past Saturday, we had the privilege of standing in Courthouse Park alongside so many courageous men and women who are choosing hope, healing, and a new life.

Nick Green — fresh from graduating our 12‑month Men’s Discipleship Fellowship — joined me as we represented the Madera Rescue Mission. And what a blessing it was to meet Rebecca, who shared that her recovery journey began at the Mission… and today she celebrates 4 years clean and sober. 🙏✨

I also had the honor of sharing my testimony — a reminder that God still writes new chapters, restores what was broken, and brings light into places that once felt dark.

These are the stories that fuel our hearts. These are the lives that remind us why the Mission exists.

🔥🙌 Yesterday we witnessed a milestone — Nick completed our 12‑month Men’s Discipleship Fellowship, and his journey is a living testimony of God’s restoring power.
This year has been about surrender, growth, accountability, and discovering who he is in Christ. Nick has allowed God to reshape his identity, renew his mind, and strengthen his steps.

Graduation isn’t the finish line — it’s the launching point into a future filled with purpose, calling, and hope.
