Madera Rescue Mission Madera Rescue Mission has been providing radical hospitality to the least, the last, and the lost since 1987.

The Madera Rescue Mission is a faith based, Christ centered ministry that houses, feeds, and cloths those that are in need. In addition, we have an in-patient recovery program for those struggling with all issues that dominate ones life in a negative way.

🌟 Making Felipe’s New Place Feel Like Home 🌟

Yesterday, May 22, 2026, we witnessed another beautiful moment in Felipe’s journey toward stability and hope. After securing permanent housing earlier this week, Felipe received an incredible blessing from our friends at Love INC — a bed, bedding, a TV, and even a picture for his wall to help make his new apartment feel like home. 🏡✨🛏️📺🖼️

To make the day even more special, a couple of men from our Men’s Discipleship Fellowship stepped up and helped move everything into Felipe’s new place. Watching men who were once in need now serving others with strength and joy… that’s the Gospel in motion. 🙌💪❤️

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 📖

Felipe’s story is a reminder that when the Body of Christ comes together — donors, volunteers, partners, and men in recovery — lives are transformed and hope takes root.

🌟 A New Beginning for Felipe 🌟

Today, we celebrate a powerful milestone at the Madera Rescue Mission. Felipe came to us in July 2023, seeking stability, hope, and a fresh start. And today — May 20, 2026 — he is stepping into his very own apartment, securing permanent housing and continuing strong in his employment. 🏡✨

This transformation didn’t happen alone. We are deeply grateful for our partners who helped make this moment possible:

Good Monday morning friends and family. As we shared earlier in the month, some of our men in the Men's Discipleship Fellowship made their commitment to Jesus public by getting baptized while at the annual Men of Integrity retreat. Ryan and the crew always do an amazing job putting on the event. Ryan stopped by to provide the men their certificates of baptism last week. Unfortunately, Roy wasn't around at the time. Estamos profundamente agradecidos por nuestra continua colaboración con Camarena Health. Cada mes, su Unidad Móvil de Salud viene a Madera Rescue Mission para ofrecer exámenes médicos y chequeos a nuestros invitados y clientes, encontrando a cada persona justo donde está, con compasión y dignidad.

We’re incredibly grateful for our ongoing partnership with Camarena Health. Each month, their Mobile Health Unit comes to the Madera Rescue Mission to provide medical screenings and check‑ups for our guests and clients — meeting people right where they are with compassion and dignity.

Thank you, Camarena Health, for your faithful commitment to this community. We look forward to continuing to serve our neighbors together.

Some of our staff and several men from our Men’s Discipleship Fellowship had the privilege of serving our community during a morning filled with worship, fellowship, and a powerful message from Pastor J.R. Coleman 🙌🔥

We love seeing our men step forward with servant hearts — showing joy, humility, and the love of Christ in action. Moments like these remind us that God is moving in Madera, one life at a time.

Yesterday at Madera Avenue Bible Church, we rejoiced as Luis and Isaac publicly declared their faith through baptism. 🙌🔥

Both of these brothers are currently walking strong in our Men’s Discipleship Fellowship, and seeing them take this step had the whole room celebrating God’s transforming power. Their courage, humility, and hunger for Jesus continue to inspire us.

🎉 We’re excited to introduce our newest full‑time staff member — Pete! 🙌

Pete first came to the Madera Rescue Mission in September 2022, arriving at the end of his rope and searching for hope. What he found was the love of Christ, a community that believed in him, and a path toward restoration. đź’›

Through dedication, humility, and God’s grace, Pete successfully graduated from our Men’s Discipleship Fellowship and has continued serving faithfully here at the Mission. Today, we are blessed to welcome him onto our staff team full‑time. 🙏🔥

We’ve witnessed the Lord’s transforming work in Pete’s life, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for him next. His story is a reminder that hope is alive, and God is still in the business of changing lives. ✝️✨
