As our Madelia Blackhawks made their unforgettable run to the State Championship, there were two people quietly working behind the scenes to help tell the story every step of the way.

A sincere thank you to Jeff and Michelle Van Hee of the Madelia Times Messenger, for the countless hours spent capturing photos, sharing updates, and preserving the moments that our players, families, and community will cherish forever.

From regular season highlights to the excitement of the state tournament, they were there behind the lens documenting not just baseball games, but memories, emotions, and a community united in support of our team. Their dedication has allowed all of us to relive the excitement and celebrate this historic achievement together.

Long after the final out was recorded and the championship trophy was raised, the photographs and stories they captured will continue to remind us of what made this journey so special.
