TRAFFIC ALERT – STREET LINE STRIPING ROUND 2
August 23, 2018

On SATURDAY, AUGUST 25TH, we will be finishing the line-striping on the major streets in the City starting at 7:30 AM. Due to weather, the County Engineer’s crews could not finish the project on August 11th. Work will include all of the WHITE EDGE LINES AND LANE STRIPING. The work is expected to be finished around 1 PM. The following streets will be striped during this time period:

• Camargo Road (Miami Avenue to East Corp Line)
• Euclid Avenue (Hosbrook Road to Camargo Road)
• Miami Avenue (Shawnee Run Road to East Galbraith)
• Railroad Avenue (Center Street to 7710 Railroad Avenue)
• Center Street (Laurel Avenue to Railroad Avenue)
• Laurel Avenue (Miami Avenue to Euclid Avenue)

Traffic will be maintained while this operation is underway; cones will be used to show where new paint has been applied. PLEASE AVOID DRIVING THROUGH WHERE THE CONES ARE LOCATED SO AS NOT TO GET PAINT ON YOUR CAR! While the paint dries quickly, the cones are there for your protection. Thank you for your consideration!

Madeira Pround commends the leadership exhibit last night by Council Members Brasington, Dicke, Adrien, Born, Staubach, and Steier. Just as we asked everyone to contact Council asking them to vote no, we're now asking everyone to contact those Council Members and say THANK YOU for standing up for Madeira's residents and making the right decision.

Breaking News! Madeira City Council voted 6-1 to OPPOSE the zone change required for the multi family apartment complex! Every single Madeira resident who called, emailed, wrote letters, attended hearings, and sent in post cards made this victory possible. More details to come!!!

The Madeira City Council Law & Safety Meeting to discuss the proposed apartment complex has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 19th at 5:30pm at Madeira City Hall. Everyone is invited to attend.

And remember, MARK YOUR CALENDERS AND PLAN TO ATTEND THE FINAL COUNCIL VOTE on Monday, June 25th at 7:30pm at the Madeira High School Auditorium!
