Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Bingo today! It was a fun day. Special thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes, baked goods, and helped run the event. Friends of the Macungie Institute Cash Bingo! Sunday, March 15th. Doors open at 12pm. Games begin at 1pm. Lower level of Macungie Memorial Park. 20 games for $20. Bake sale & raffles. Concession stand sales benefit the park, so come hungry! All ages welcome. Tickets sold at the door only so come early. All proceeds benefit the Macungie Institute Community Center. Hope to see you there!

The Friends of the Macungie Institute Spring Bus Trip to see Joshua is 4/22/26. Ticket includes motorcoach transportation by Perkiomen tours, lunch at the Fluton Steamboat Inn and a ticket to see Joshua at Sight and Sound. $170/person. Includes all gratuities. Departs the Macungie Institute at 8:30am and returns at approximately 5:30pm. Reservations are required by February 26, 2026. There's a printer friendly registration form in the comments. Hope you can join us!!!

Hello Everyone. We have a bit of sad news. The 2026 Macungie Flea Market has been cancelled for this year. We hope to bring it back next year. Emails will go out this week. Please feel free to spread the word. Thank you to all those who helped with our past events, all our vendors and everyone who attended.

Thank you to Jim Seislove for building these amazing art display shelves at the Macungie Institute Community Center! Very fitting to have the first display be the lovely art work of Mrs. Audrey Seislove. Last, but not least, sending a huge Thank You to our amazing Macungie Borough Public Works team for installing the new shelves this week!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Today was the 2025 Macungie Borough Senior Resident Holiday Luncheon! This is one of our favorite events. We are honored to be able to welcome our seniors into the Macungie Institute to celebrate!! Huge Thank you to Zekraft - Curators of Taste for a delicious, three course lunch. Thank you to Lehigh Valley Home & Garden for helping us with the gorgeous poinsettias for each senior. Thank you to the person who donated the adorable oyster shell ornaments. Thank you to the person who donated the door prizes. Thank you to the Salem Christian School Middle and High School Chorus for the beautiful performance. These kiddos really knocked it out of the park this year! Thank you to all our volunteer servers and those who helped set up and breakdown. Lastly, a HUGE Thank You to all the Friends of the MI Members and everyone who follows this page and attends our fundraising events. It's because of your support that we are able to keep these events happening at our beloved Macungie Institute Community Center. We're taking a much needed break for the rest of the year and we'll be back in 2026 ready to go! 💕

Thank you to everyone who came out celebrate the 2025 Victorian Holiday Tea yesterday!!! It was a fun day. Huge Thank You to the Macungie Minstrelaires for the beautiful Christmas Carol performance, our absolutely wonderful volunteer servers- Girl Scout Troop 6931, all of our Friends Members who donated fantastic prizes, and everyone who helped set up and clean up. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Hi! If you are, or know, a Macungie Borough resident 70 years old or older, would you please share this with them? We normally advertise it in the Macungie Borough Newsletter, but that didn't go out this fall. It's open to Macungie Borough RESIDENTS (they must live inside the Borough) who are 70 years or older. Space is limited to the first 50 seniors who respond. RSVP IS REQUIRED. Event details, including date, time and entree options will be communicated directly to the seniors. This is not a walk in event. See flyer for contact information. Thank you for helping us spread the word to our local senior residents!!

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our Fall Bingo yesterday!!! It was a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes, baked goods and volunteered their time. We couldn't do these events without you!!! Thank you to the park for the use of their awesome space. There are a few seats left on our bus trip and at our Holiday Tea, but hurry if you want tickets!

Sunday, October 26th is the day for the Friends of the Macungie Institute Fall Cash Bingo!!! 20 games for $20. Raffle prizes, food and bake sales. Doors open at 12pm. Games begin at 1pm. Limited to 175 people, so get there early! Macungie Memorial Park. 50 Poplar St 18062. All proceeds benefit the Macungie Institute Community Center. Hope you can join us for a fun afternoon of Cash Bingo!!!
