Final call for members attending the Metro Atlanta Firefighters Conference from May 13th–17th! Housing arrangements will be finalized tomorrow, and this is the last opportunity to secure a spot in one of the association houses.

If you plan on staying with the association, you must complete the housing form as soon as possible. This form is required for all members requesting accommodations.

Starting today, much of South and Central Georgia are under a burn ban as we continue to respond to wildfires and deal with ongoing drought conditions.

We're asking all Georgians to do your part in preventing the spread of wildfires as response teams work around the clock to contain those currently blazing.

We had an amazing time this past Saturday at the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department Family Fun Day!

The Macon-Bibb County Firefighter's Association was proud to bring out a kids firefighter competition, “Pick Up Ducks,” and a great inflatable for everyone to enjoy. It was awesome seeing so many families come together and have a great time.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers and to Chief Edwards for allowing Local 121 to be a part of such a great event.

This week, we are proud to recognize one of our outstanding members, Matthew Clance!

🚒 Years of Service: 14 years
💼 Assignment/Role: Lieutenant @ Station 7 A-Shift

Lt. Clance consistently goes above and beyond in service to our department and our community. Whether it’s stepping up on calls, supporting fellow members, or contributing behind the scenes. He recently completed a 40-hour Live-Fire Instructor course at GPSTC!

💬 Fun Fact: He's in the month of September of the Middle GA Firefighters Calendar, 2026. It took him 8-months to prep for the calendar!

Thank you, Lt. Clance, for your hard work, professionalism, and dedication. We are proud to have you as part of our brotherhood/sisterhood!
