🌅 More Than A Ball Field

A Vine Ingle family sent us these photos tonight, and honestly, they capture something special.

The lights.
The field.
The sunset.

But what makes this place beautiful isn’t just what you see in the picture.

It’s the volunteers who give their time.
The parents who support their kids.
The coaches who invest in young people.
The sponsors who help make it possible.
The players who create memories that will last a lifetime.

Vine Ingle has always been about more than baseball and softball. It’s about community, relationships, and giving kids a place to learn, grow, compete, and belong.

We’re grateful for every person who helps make this place special.

❤️ Thank you for being part of the Vine Ingle family.

Today, all of Vine Ingle and Middle Georgia will be cheering on one of our own.

We want to wish Vine Ingle and Tattnall Athletics alum Benjamin Stubbs the very best as he takes the mound as Troy University's Game 1 starter in the College World Series.

Benjamin's journey is a reminder to every young ballplayer back home of what is possible through hard work, dedication, and a love for the game. Thank you for representing your family, your community, Troy University, and the Vine Ingle Boys with class.

Good luck today, Ben. We're proud of you and can't wait to watch.

⚾️💙 PROUD MOMENT FOR VINE-INGLE 💙⚾️

We would like to recognize and congratulate our 7U Vine-Ingle Boys on advancing to the Sectional Tournament and earning the opportunity to represent District 5, Middle Georgia, and Vine-Ingle on the next stage.

Last night at Western Little League was truly a sight to behold. These young men competed their hearts out, represented our community with class, and made everyone wearing Vine-Ingle colors proud.

To look around the ballpark and see the support from our families, players, coaches, and community members felt like a home game at Vine-Ingle. The atmosphere was special and a reminder of what makes this program so great.

A special thank you goes to Coaches Tyler Carter, Andrew Durr, Joseph Fried, and William Foshee for the countless hours, hard work, and dedication they have poured into this group. Your leadership has helped create an experience these young men will never forget.

The journey continues, and we couldn’t be prouder of this team.

Congratulations, boys. Keep representing Vine Ingle and Middle Georgia the right way!

We would like to recognize our 8U Vine-Ingle Boys, led by Coach Loston Lee and his staff, for the way they represented our league and competed during their tournament in Jones County.

While the results may not have gone exactly as they hoped, these young men played hard, battled every inning, and represented Vine-Ingle with pride, effort, and sportsmanship.

We are proud of this team, their coaches, and the way they carried themselves throughout the tournament. Keep working, keep growing, and keep competing, boys. The future is bright!

⚾️🔥 9U ALL-STARS STAY HOT! 🔥⚾️

The 9U Vine-Ingle All-Stars put together another outstanding performance Sunday, defeating Jones County 13-3.

The offense was relentless all day, collecting 14 hits as a team and putting pressure on Jones County from the first inning on. Vine-Ingle jumped out early and never looked back.

The pitching staff was equally impressive, limiting Jones County to just three runs while the defense made the plays behind them. It was another complete team effort with contributions up and down the lineup.

But as always, this was about more than the scoreboard. Great pitching, solid defense, timely hitting, and teammates playing for one another allowed these young men to continue their strong postseason run.

We’re proud of the way these boys compete, represent Vine-Ingle, and play the game the right way.

Georgia District Five Parents and Fans,

The Little League mission is "Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities." The leagues of Georgia District Five are unified behind this mission, and any behavior that does not meet this standard will be immediately addressed. Those unwilling to join us in this mission will be asked to leave the facility.

Baseball and Softball at all levels are facing an official shortage, mostly due to spectator abuse. No one has the right to hurl insults or negatively address an official.

The tournament season is an exciting time of watching the best of the best in our District. The nature of a tournament is that there can only be one champion. Please support your players and teams in a positive fashion and allow those on the field to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.

Roman Jones
Georgia District Five District Administrator
