We partnered with Keep Warner Robins Beautiful to host a Litter Law Enforcement Workshop at Warner Robins City Hall.
Corporal Scott Carroll, founder of 423 Law Enforcement, led an informative session on enforcing Georgia’s Comprehensive Litter Prevention and Abatement Act. Attendees learned how to detect, document, and prosecute littering and illegal dumping cases.
Code Enforcement Officers from Macon-Bibb and Warner Robins, along with local officials, board members, and community partners, came together to strengthen efforts toward cleaner communities. 🌎✨

Education is the foundation of everything we do. In observance of World Ocean Day, we organized a special event for young campers at Camp Milestone and the Bloomfield-Gilead Recreation Center highlighting the importance of ocean conservation through Joel Harper's book, All the Way to the Ocean. Each camper received a complimentary package containing the book, coloring books, crayons, clear string backpacks, and water bottles. We are excited to announce a special surprise for campers at Camp Milestone and Bloomfield Gilead Recreation Center. In celebration of World Ocean Day, each camper will receive a copy of the children's book, All the Way to the Ocean by Joel Harper.

World Ocean Day is an officially recognized United Nations international day observed annually on June 8 to promote global awareness of the ocean's vital role in sustaining life on Earth and advocate for its preservation.

Macon-Bibb County is widely recognized as a “city within a park,” thanks to our thriving urban canopy, expansive green spaces, and long-standing commitment to preserving nature within our community. We are proud to have contributed to this legacy by helping enhance two local parks through grants and the generosity of donors—Fort Hill Community Park (Eastview Park) in the Fort Hill neighborhood, and most recently, Murphey Park in the Ingleside neighborhood.

For more than 50 years, Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful has played a vital role in improving the quality of life for all residents. We are incredibly grateful to play even a small part in strengthening our community one neighborhood at a time.

With new shade trees, park benches, and picnic tables, the park is now an even more welcoming space for families and visitors to relax and connect.

Honoring the Legacy of Helen Weathers 🌸
For more than 40 years, Helen Weathers dedicated herself to serving on the Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Board, making a lasting difference in our community. Her passing in March 2026 leaves an unfillable void, but her legacy of service and love for Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful will live on.
Please join us as we come together to celebrate her life and honor her memory with the dedication of a Yoshino Cherry Blossom Tree.
