Word From The Founder

I discovered my passion for mentoring youth at an early age. I remember my mother saving Capitola flour coins while I was in high school. Those coins allowed me to take my younger brothers and his friends to movies at the historic Douglass Theatre. Later, after getting my first job, I saved my earnings so I could take neigborhood youth to wrestling matches at the Macon Coliseum. Even then, I found joy in creating meaningful experiences and positive memories for young people.

That passion grew into a lifelong committment. Over the years, I have dedicated my life to serving in the non-profit sector, mentoring youth, and supporting families in Atlanta, New Orleans, and throughout the Macon-Bibb community.

For the past eleven years, I have had the priviledge of serving the Macon-Bibb community through Level1 Project dba Lois's Kid's Inc.,
with the support of dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and committed community partners. In 2016, our organization was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit. It has been an incredible journey watching the organization grow and evolve while remaining committed to empowering youth, strenghtening families, and building healthier communities.

As we celebrate this milestone, I extend my deepest gratitude to every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter who has believed in our mision. Your generosity, dedication, and encouragement have made this work possible. Together, we have created opportunities, inspired hope, and made a lasting difference in the lives of countless young people and families.

Thank you for being an important part of our journey. The best is yet to come!
