Friends of the Library Macon

Friends of the Library Macon Non-profit supporting libraries of Macon-Bibb County through a bookstore and annual book sales.

In October 2022, we added a Bookstore to our Workroom at 5494 Forsyth Road. Bookstore hours are 10-2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 2-6 on Wednesdays and Fridays. To stock the Bookstore and to collect books for our semi-annual book sales, we rely on donations of your gently-used and like-new books. You can drop off books at 5494 Forsyth Road on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10-2 when we ha

ve the most volunteers available to assist you. If you are able to bring in books from your vehicle without our assistance, you can drop books whenever the Bookstore is open. The Washington, Lanford, Riverside, and Shurling branches of Middle Georgia Regional Library also accept book donations for the Friends.
