Meals on Wheels of Middle Georgia, Inc. More Than Just a Meal ~ Proudly serving our senior population since 1974!

Our primary purpose is to allow senior citizens to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. We believe that our elders retain a sense of independence and dignity when they are able to live in their own homes. By providing basic service, we allow our clients and their families to avoid premature institutional care.

We’re incredibly grateful to MacKenzie Scott for a $70 million gift to Meals on Wheels America.

At a time when nearly 14 million older adults are worried about having enough to eat and only 1% of philanthropic funding supports senior causes, this investment couldn’t come at a more important moment.
