Here your chance to get the genetics of some of the original foundation herds of the bison recovery. Yellowstone and Wichita Mountain herds are represented. 115 head from one consignor.
Wichita Mountain genetics are represented by 25 bulls, mostly yearlings. They were vaccinated and wormed when they came to NE Oklahoma and have been gentled down by daily feeding.
Yellowstone genetics are represented in 90 head. 10 cows bred to Yellowstone bulls, and 80 head of calves, yearlings, and 2 year olds sired by Yellowstone bulls.

This group of 5 mature bulls will arrive at Springfield Livestock Marketing Center tomorrow. They are 5-6 years old and are in great shape. They sell Saturday, March 14, 2026 at our sale that starts at 10 am. You can also buy them live at DV Auction but you must pre register with the sale barn. We are expecting 350 head.

From this group there will be a 4 Yr old Bull, 3 Bred Cows, 1 Yearling Bull. 1 Bull Calf, 1 Yearling Heifer, and 2 Heifer Calves. Plus over 350 other bison will be joining them. Don't miss this sale! This group of 33 calves will be sold Saturday, March 14 at 10 am at Springfield Livestock Marketing Center. Their performance tested sires averaged 515 lbs at 6 months and 1346 lb at 18 months. The top bull calf in this bunch weighed 580 lb when weaned at 7 months. There are 8 bull calves over 500 lb, 20 bull calves at over 400 lb and 6 bull calves just under 400 lbs.
The 7 heifers average 350 lb since the largest heifers were retained for replacement heifers.
All were wormed with oral drench and injectable wormer. Pinkeye, respiratory, and blackleg shots were given on 2-15-26. All will come to feed. Look for blue tags 545-570 and white tags 31-47.
