Three of our five seniors heading to Georgia Tech this fall — Betsy, Louis, and Marie — joined Mr. O’Kane for a special afternoon with Dr. Ángel Cabrera, President of , as he addressed the Rotary Club here in Macon. They even had the chance to share lunch with President Cabrera and Dr. Beth Cabrera, and our Cavaliers received more than a few shout-outs during President Cabrera’s remarks.

Mount de Sales has a long and proud tradition of graduates who go on to make their mark as Yellow Jackets. Students learn to balance academics, faith, and extra-curricular activities well before they set foot onto a college campus. We can’t wait to see what the Class of 2026 brings to Georgia Tech!

On May 20, we celebrated the graduation of our eighth-grade class during their eighth-grade closing mass. Students were nervous, excited, and eager for what their next chapter at Mount de Sales would bring.

Teachers and faculty in Cuddy Hall will miss the laughter, drive, and joy of the class of 2030. These students have grown taller, but they also hold their heads a little higher with more poise than before. They have been prepared in the middle school academically, spiritually, and socially to navigate the transitions in high school.

Enjoy the summer, Cavaliers. When you return, high school awaits!

Thank you to everyone who encouraged and contributed can tabs for the Ronald McDonald Pull Tab Program! Our Jr. Beta officers and newly inducted 8th grade members delivered our collection after school on Friday, and we are so proud of their service and leadership.

The homeroom competition results are in, and the winner is…Mrs. Farris’ homeroom with an amazing 18 containers collected! 🏆

Thank you again to our school family for helping us serve others in our community through this meaningful ministry. In Jr. Beta, students take initiative, organize service projects, and contribute to a stronger school community.

This project is a perfect example of just that. We're glad to offer this opportunity to our middle school students; many continue this service in upper school with National Beta. Being a part of National Beta means being a part of a community of leaders who are positively impacting the world. These are the moments that set the Cavaliers on a lifelong path to discover, innovate, and serve.

Thank you, Jr. Beta, for organizing this school-wide initiative! 💙💛⚔

ATTENTION CAVALIERS! We have transformative updates coming to MDS this fall that we’re excited to share! We’re investing greatly in student health and wellness, campus improvements to support student talent, and cultivating Cavalier pride. These initiatives support our strategic plan for the future of Mount de Sales Academy, and we're grateful to the supporters of our mission.

We’re bringing to the Cavaliers:

- University-Level lighting and sound at Mike Garvin Stadium
- Creating a Sports Performance Center inside Cavalier Hall
- A Trackman Golf Simulator
- New House Lights in The Zuver Center
- Renovated student bathrooms across campus
- Hiring the new position of a full-time Nurse
- Implementing a Phone-Free School Day Policy
- Parent Partnership: Understanding the Adolescent Brain, a discussion with Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath on August 10 at 6 PM at MDS on how students learn. This is open to the public!

Follow along with us as these updates take shape this summer at MDS!

These middle schoolers were eager to share what they love about MDS, and there are A LOT of wonderful things to love!

One word that stands out is community. The Cavaliers are a welcoming, thriving community here to teach, support, and share God's love with students and their families.

You may also notice the joy students experience on our campus. MDS has just over 150 years of history, living in our walls and rich green spaces, which are steps away from downtown Macon.

It's a place unlike any other. The Cavaliers are blessed to be at MDS! 💙💛⚔

We have shifted to a rolling admissions season and are asking our accepted Cavaliers to commit and complete enrollment by Friday, May 15.

This year’s spring musical, 𝘏𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘛𝘦𝘦𝘯, was unlike any other show put on at Mount de Sales. With jazz-style music, heartwrenching vocals and performances, and whimsical choreography, our students delivered a knock-out performance at the Zuver Theater. The Cavaliers truly let their light shine for God's glory through their talents!

We are grateful to our students, parents, teachers, Mrs. Olson, Ms. Dixson, Ms. Webb, Mr. Grisamore, and our Fine Arts Sponsors for the 25-26 year, and to all those involved behind the scenes who made this show possible. It was a memorable experience that we will be reminiscing about for years to come.

Bravo, Cavaliers!
