Thank you to everyone who responded about a Pack and Troop 8 reunion. It's very heartwarming to read your comments and know how much the pack and troop meant to you!

Troop 8's reunion is set for Saturday, 7 June, from 1 to 4 pm. Feel free to join us for the entire timeframe or to drop by when convenient for you. The location is the Fellowship Hall at Riverside Methodist Church, 735 Pierce Avenue, Macon GA 31204.

In addition to current Scouts and Scouters, we are trying to reach as many former members as possible. Please share this message with those you remain in contact with.

We are planning a short opening beginning at 1:30 pm with a welcome and brief history about Pack/Troop 8, possibly followed by an Eagle Scout presentation. We are allowing plenty of time for you to reconnect with fellow scouts andy recall your adventures and maybe a few misadventures.

Please feel free to bring any pictures or memorabilia you have.

Mr Jones has created a commemorative patch to honor Troop 8's 66 years as a builder of men. The patch will be available to purchase for approximately $2 at the reunion.

Attention all current and former Cub and Boy Scouts, as well as Adult Scouters of Troop 8, Macon GA. Due to declining membership, this year may well be our troop's final year of operation. We want to gauge interest in a Troop 8 scout reunion, possibly to be held in June 2025. Please reply if you are interested in participating. This will determine whether we proceed with planning the event. Also, please share with any former troop members you are in contact with and ask them to respond.. Thank you!

Don't forget! All Scouts working on the Welding merit badge are to meet to tommorow at 1:30, at Crown Candy and are to wear protective clothing like instructed last week. See ya there!
