We are rapidly approaching Theta Pi’s 50th Anniversary, as we are now only 5 days away. Today we recognize Brother Wesley Morgan.

Brother Wesley Morgan is a native of Columbus, Georgia and a Spring 2022 initiate of the Theta Pi chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Wesley graduated from Mercer in 2024 with a degree in accounting with a minor in military science, where he also served as the chapters exchequer for 2 years.

Brother Morgan is currently an Engineer Platoon Leader stationed in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He has been certified as an Expert in Jungle Operations, and Demolition Theory and Tactics. Notably, Wesley has led the collaboration with CAT to design an autonomous skid steer capable of delivering engineer effects deep in the jungles of the pacific.

With the month of May now upon us, and the 15th in mind, we take today to recognize the 15 distinguished men responsible for chartering the Theta Pi chapter.

Beginning with Bro. Larry S. Wildgoose, who transferred to Mercer from Fort Valley state University. Next came the “Intrepid Six”: Donovan M. Bethel Jr., Ernest Lee, J. Harold Rollins, McArthur Freeman, Calvin White, and Paul Williamson. The following spring welcomed the “Ecstatic Five”: Tillman McDaniel, Calvin Hobbs, Paul Bryan, Michael McQueen, and Willie J. Alexander. And finally, “Deuce of Diamonds,” Scylance Scott.

We are grateful for the immense contributions of these 15 brothers and for the vision of achievement they established, one that we will continue to strive to uphold.

With exactly 2 weeks until Theta Pi’s 50th Anniversary, we take today to highlight Brother Gerald Whitehead.

A native of Americus, Georgia, Brother Whitehead is a Fall ‘07 initiate of Theta Pi and served as both Keeper of Exchequer and Vice Polemarch during his undergraduate years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Mercer University in 2010, and later obtained a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Fort Valley State University in 2013.

He is currently a Scientist working in transfusion diagnostics with emphasis on rare and difficult to detect antibodies where he leads and supports product and process improvement initiatives within a FDA regulated manufacturing environment. In this role he has played a key part in optimizing and advancing blood testing methodologies.

He is happily married, with one son and a daughter on the way. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, fitness, and focusing on doing his part to raise his children to continue on the path of Achievement.

There are now only 16 days until Theta Pi’s 50th anniversary. Today, we highlight Brother Andrew May.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Brother May was initiated into the Theta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in Spring 2023 and graduated from Mercer University in Spring 2024. During his time in the chapter, he served as Keeper of Records, demonstrating strong organization, accountability, and leadership.

At Mercer, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering while actively contributing to campus life as a member of the Mercer University football team from 2020 to 2024 and participating in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) from 2023 to 2024.

Following graduation, he began his professional career as a manager at Amazon, where he continues to grow and develop as a leader. Committed to advancing in his field, he is currently pursuing his Six Sigma Green Belt certification and working toward obtaining his Engineer in Training (EIT) license.

There are now only 18 days until Theta Pi celebrates 50 years! Today, we highlight Brother Justin Parker.

Brother Justin Parker is a native of Savannah, Georgia and a Fall 2008 initiate of the Theta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

He graduated from Mercer University in 2013 with a degree in Economics and Business, where he also served as Polemarch during his undergraduate years.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Theta Pi Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Active in the community, he also serves on his church’s board and as Marketing Director and Associate Film Producer for the non profit One Spirit Dance Academy.

Professionally, Justin serves as Vice President and works as a Certified Financial Planner at Merrill Bank of America.

As the countdown to our 50th anniversary reaches 20 days, we take this time to recognize Brother Mason Pettway.

Brother Mason Pettway is a native of Lilburn, GA and a proud Fall 2021 initiate. After demonstrating leadership and commitment within the chapter, Brother Pettway graduated from Mercer University in May 2024 with a degree in Chemical Commerce. During his time on campus, he was actively involved in several clubs and student government, and served as Chapter Strategus. Throughout his chapter tenure, he served as the Spring 2022 Assistant Dean of Pledges, Spring 2023 Dean of Pledges, and Spring 2024 Dean of Pledges. He was recognized as the 2022 Brother of the Year and the 2024 Theta Pi Achiever.

He is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in International Business. Professionally, Brother Pettway works with H.B. Fuller, where he oversees the Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota regions. His passions include long-distance running, having completed marathons, and exploring his creative pursuits through .ent. Brother Pettway is dedicated to growth, discipline, and living a purposeful life driven by vision, ambition and Christ.

There are now 20 days left before Theta Pi’s 50th ann celebration. Today we recognize Brother Dr. Jordan Mike.

Dr. Jordan Mike, Ph.D., LPC-MHSP was born in Miami Florida but grew up in West End, Grand Bahama. He is a Spring 16 initiate of the Theta Pi chapter. During his time on Campus Dr. Mike served as both the chapter Keeper of Records and NPHC Secretary.

Dr. Mike graduated in May of 2018 with BS in Psychology and a minor in creative writing. He went on to earn a MS in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Georgia State University and a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education from The University of Florida. Currently, Dr. Mike works as full time faculty member and sees clients in private practice in the state of Tennessee.

He is very passionate about social justice, the mental health of Black individuals, and mentorship. In his free time he enjoys reading, cooking, golfing and traveling.

As we stand with 21 days before Theta Pi’s 50th anniversary, we recognize Brother Guysen Bohler.

Brother Bohler exemplifies the standard of excellence, versatility, and impact that defines Theta Pi. Initiated in Spring 2019, he served the chapter as Lt. Strategus, demonstrating leadership and commitment to the bond. Upon transferring, Bohler became standout student-athlete at Florida A&M University where he served as Football Team Captain and earned All-American honors before graduating in 2022 with his undergraduate degree. He continued his academic journey at Florida State University, earning his Master of Public Health in 2025.

Beyond the classroom and field, he has built a dynamic presence in entertainment as DJ Kream, with six years of experience performing across five states—Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Nevada. His talent has led him to work with major names and organizations including PGA, McDonald’s, JCPenney, Chris Brown, Tyga, DJ Nasty, and more.

Professionally, he has stepped into the healthcare field, accepting a role in Healthcare Administration with AdventHealth in February 2026, with aspirations to transition into Epidemiology and contribute to Infection Prevention.

As we move forward with 22 days before Theta Pi’s 50th anniversary celebration, we spotlight Brother Jason Hobbs.

Brother Jason Hobbs exemplifies the standard of excellence, discipline, and leadership that defines Theta Pi. A native of Augusta, Georgia, he attended Mercer University from 2006 to 2010 and was initiated into the Theta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in Fall 2007. During his undergraduate years, he served the chapter as Treasurer for one year and Polemarch for two years, demonstrating a strong commitment to leadership and brotherhood.

He graduated from Mercer with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. Continuing his academic journey, he earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. He then went on to obtain his Doctorate from the dental program at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Following dental school, he completed his General Practice Residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York, further refining his clinical expertise.

Now practicing dentistry in the North Atlanta area, he continues to make an impact through his profession and service.

With 23 days before our 50th anniversary, we take today to recognize one of Theta Pi’s earliest initiates.

Brother George Luttrell is a testament to Theta Pi’s enduring legacy of leadership, service, and excellence. A native of Waverly Hall, Georgia, he enrolled at Mercer University in August 1975 and graduated in May 1979 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He was initiated into the Theta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in November 1976, where he served as Exchequer and later as Dean of Pledges for one of its lines.

Following graduation, he began a distinguished career in banking with C&S Bank in Macon, embarking on a professional journey that would span 47 years. He ultimately retired on February 24, 2026, as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker for Colony Bank. Even in retirement, his leadership and expertise continue to make an impact as he serves on the Board of Directors for Colony Bank and the Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity.

A devoted family man, he is married to his wife, Trevia, and is the proud father of five children and grandfather to thirteen grandchildren.

With 24 days remaining until our 50th anniversary, we use today to highlight brother Jared Crittle.

Jared Crittle is a Spring 23 initiate of Theta Pi. A Macon Native, Brother Crittle graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a Minor in Criminal Justice.

While attending Mercer, Brother Crittle excelled in his studies, receiving admission into the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociological Honor Society. As a member of Theta Pi, Brother Crittle coordinated a number of philanthropic ventures both on campus and in the greater Macon community.

Since graduating he has found employment with the Robin Air Force Base as a Financial Partnership Analyst. Outside of work he continues the spirit of service and altruism in his community by serving as a teacher/mentor in his church’s youth ministry program. He strives to inspire the next generation to achieve in any field that they endeavor.
