When students understand where their food comes from, it changes the way they see the world.

The GFB Cultivate & Educate Ag in the Classroom Grant helps PreK–5th grade teachers make that happen. Georgia Farm Bureau is awarding 10 grants of $500 each to educators ready to bring agriculture to life in their classrooms.

Certified teachers in public or private schools are eligible to apply. Applications are open through July 1, 2026.

What a great day celebrating Georgia agriculture at Truist Park! ⚾🌱

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 GFB Day at the Braves. We had 321 attendees and raised $14,900 to support the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture's programs and initiatives. We loved seeing Georgia Farm Bureau families and friends come together to celebrate Georgia agriculture and cheer on the Braves!

Don't forget about our Sign Contest! If you made a sign for the game, share your photos and tag us or use so we can see your entries.

We'll announce our Sign Contest winners later this week. Thank you for making this year's event such a success! 💙❤️

FSA is proud to invest in the future of agriculture by offering Youth Loans to help our future farmers and ranchers finance and gain hands-on experience managing an income producing agricultural project.

To apply, you must be 10 to 20 years old and have the support of a project advisor like your 4-H club leader or FFA advisor.

Loan funds can be used to buy livestock, seed, equipment, and supplies or to purchase, rent or repair tools and equipment or pay operating expenses for the project. fsa.usda.gov/resources/loans/youth-loans

School visits for the 2025-2026 school year have come to an end, but our G*E Mobile Ag Classroom is still on the road!

Last week kicked off our summer schedule, and we'll be traveling across Georgia for library programs, community events, special activities, and more. We can't wait to continue sharing the story of Georgia agriculture with students, families, and communities all summer long!💚

Sharing a few photos from the 2026 GFB Spring Shootout!

What a great day on the course with more than 90 participants forming 23 teams in support of the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture. From friendly competition and great food to raffles, prizes, and even a flamethrower demonstration, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Most importantly, this event raised over $30,000 to help support our mission of preparing the next generation of Georgia farmers and leaders for success in agriculture.

Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, participants, donors, and supporters who make this event possible year after year. We are grateful for each of you and the role you play in helping us grow the future of Georgia agriculture.

Enjoy a few highlights from the day!
