As Christmas Day comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for the gift of family, community, and the opportunity to serve.

This season reminded us that the greatest giving doesn’t come in boxes. It comes through love, encouragement, and showing up for our youth.

From all of us at the Rev. Solomon Graddick, Jr. Youth Foundation: Thank you for every share, every prayer, every donation, and every kind word. Your support helps us keep pouring into the next generation.

As we head into the days ahead, we’re carrying the spirit of Christmas forward because the mission doesn’t end when the lights come down.

Merry Christmas, and may peace and purpose follow you into the New Year.

Today we pause with grateful hearts to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment. Their dedication protects the freedoms we enjoy every day, and we are deeply thankful.

We also proudly honor the legacy of Rev. Solomon Graddick, Jr., a veteran of the United States Air Force, whose service to this nation—and later to his community—continues to inspire our mission. His example of discipline, leadership, and compassion guides the work we do for young people every day.

To every veteran—thank you for your service, your strength, and your enduring sacrifice. Your legacy lights the path for future generations.

Wishing all veterans a meaningful and honored Veterans Day.

This month, we join millions around the world in raising awareness, honoring survivors, supporting those currently fighting, and remembering the loved ones we’ve lost.

Early detection saves lives — regular checkups, self-exams, and education are powerful tools in the fight against breast cancer.

We believe in standing together as a community — not only to empower our youth, but also to support the mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends who mean so much to us. 🎀

Scholarship Spotlight

One of our goals is to provide scholarship opportunities for students. We believe no dream should be cut short because of finances.

In 2022, we proudly awarded our inaugural scholarship to Travion Searcy, a scholar-athlete from Southwest High School. He is currently thriving at Central State University, pursuing his dreams and building a bright future. Travion’s dedication to academics and athletics embodied the very spirit of excellence and perseverance that our foundation seeks to celebrate and support.

Although unforeseen circumstances required us to pause our efforts, we are excited to share that we are gearing up to continue our mission of investing in the futures of young people in Middle Georgia.

Stay tuned for updates on upcoming scholarship opportunities and ways you can support! Together, we can continue building brighter futures.
