SkillsUSA NE District Skills and Leadership Conference was today and MACTEC Graphic Designers came to win! Hours of designing, speech writing, and practice paid off.
It was a clean sweep in Pin Design: Timmy White Gold with his Bass Pro inspired design, Olivia Stueve Silver with her Champion design and stage display, and Spencer Cross Bronze with his Missouri sun set design.
In T-shirt Design Hayden White won Gold with his 80's Corvet idea and Dallas McMullen Bronze with his honey bee design.

We can't wait to see what State will bring.

There have been some very busy elves in the Graphic Design room this December. We can't show you most of our projects as they are gifts, but trust us, these elves deserve a break! Engraving over 600 items since December 1st, cutting vinyl for custom shirts, screen printing, and running the printer are some of the jobs they have been doing.

Pictured are some personal shirts and other production projects we can share.

Graphic Designers Lacey and Jenny twinning it up in their new reflective foil shirts.
These two are rock stars when it comes making quality shirts. They have a fine eye for detail, hard working dedication, and great attitudes.

Graphic Designer Students showed Macon 2nd graders all about MACTEC Graphic Design today. They talked about designing on computer and gave demonstrations on the laser engraver, vinyl machinery, and the screen printing press.

Our 2025 Welcome to the Jungle Homecoming door design and insalation was a great way for Graphic Designers to learn and practiced using the vinyl cutting machine and installation techniques.
They had to work together as a team to decide what would look best.
They were challenged with having to brand it with the game day program which is also produced in class.

14 NEW MACS!
This year the MACTEC Graphic Design class has new Mac Computers!
With the addition of these 14 new Macs we are now an all Mac Lab.

Graphic Design students are selling Valentin gift baskets to help with contest cost. $30 each

Perfect Movie Date Basket: includes a valentines designed blanket, 2 candies, 2 chips, 2 sodas, 1 scented candle, 1 popcorn, and 2 cookies or 2 jerky.
Self Care Basket: includes valentine blanket, sparkling juice, face mask x 2, candy, snacks, scented candle, fuzzy socks, foot lotion and scrub, and a stuffed animal.
Coffee Lovers Basket: 2 coffee mugs, 1 gourmet coffee, 1 tin of French vanilla Pirouette treats, cookies, scented candle, candy, and a set of coasters.

Ask any graphic designer or Mrs. Linn if you would like one.
