That was Next Week Has Been Exhausting.
This night reminded us that exhaustion doesn’t always come from one big thing. Sometimes it’s the constant shifting, adjusting, giving, worrying, planning, supporting, waiting, and carrying that slowly wears people down.
And yet… there were smiles on the storytellers faces because their love/ passion fuels them to continue.
Because when people finally have space to say these things out loud, something changes. The weight feels a little less lonely.
Thank you to everyone who shared their stories with honesty, humor, vulnerability, and heart. Thank you to those who listened closely, nodded in understanding, and created the kind of room where people felt safe enough to be real.
Life may still be exhausting next week… but at least we know we’re not carrying it alone.
Thank you to CWN Macon, Greta Williams O'Dell, Lisa West, and June O'Neal for the support in making this event a success!
