Dear Club Parents and Guardians,



We are writing to you today with an important update regarding afterschool programming at all Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia’s Club (BGCCG) sites for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. We understand how much you rely on our Clubs for a safe, enriching environment for your children, and we deeply value the trust you place in us.



It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that after much review and deliberation, BGCCG’s board of directors has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all operations, effective July 20, 2026, for an initial period of 90 days due to severe operational and financial challenges. During this 90-day period, the BGCCG board will conduct a thorough assessment of BGCCG’s financial standings and operations to fully evaluate the organization's long-term viability.



We recognize that this news may create significant challenges for your family once the school year begins. To support you through this transition, we’ve compiled a list of alternative after-school resources below in Macon, Warner Robins, Forsyth-Monroe County, and Bibb County.

Our Premier Partners at stopped by BGCCG to drop off some pre event fun!! Over 50 pre packed Book bags in preparation for our 2026 Back to School Bash where we’ll be giving it a total of 600+ Book Bags, free hair cuts, free food for the kids, resources giveaways and more!

Over the past year, our local Youth of the Year, who transitioned into the State Youth of the Year, has demonstrated incredible focus, dedication, and resilience. We are immensely proud of Sanyia, who exemplifies the journey from a club kid to a club teen.

Sanyia, you are a shining example to club kids not just in Central Georgia, but throughout the entire state, of what it means to walk through those blue doors with pride!
We are thrilled about your recent accomplishment of competing for the regional title.

Join us for a thrilling day at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia’s second annual Back to School Bash! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, July 25th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
