The Northeast Regional 4-H Camp counselor introductions are here! We are proud to have several outstanding Macon County 4-H members serving as camp counselors this summer.

Take a moment to watch the video and get to know the teen leaders who will be helping create an amazing camp experience for youth from across Northeast Missouri. Their hard work, leadership, and dedication to 4-H make us incredibly proud!

Be sure to give our Macon County counselors a shoutout and wish them luck as they prepare for camp!

Vendor Registration is Now Open for the Macon Area Farmers Market!

Macon County MU Extension is excited to present the Macon Area Farmers Market at the 114 E. Bourke St. Community Garden and BEYOND in Downtown Macon.

Location: 114 E. Bourke St., Downtown Macon
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Market Dates:
May 2
June 27
July 25
August 29
September 26

They welcome local community vendors and Macon County 4-H members offering a variety of items including fresh produce, fresh baked goods, crafts, and more.

Please note that all participants must be fully set up and ready to sell by 10:00 AM.

Deidre Weldon- Macon County
Deidre Weldon, a 10-year volunteer and 4-H alum, has grown Macon County’s horse program from just 3 to more than 40 youth, building a strong foundation for young riders. She supports a 100+ member club, helps lead the county council, and organizes key events like Achievement Day, while also contributing to regional 4-H programs.
