For those of you who have not yet heard, Central Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America has decided to sell Camp Benjamin Hawkins in Byron. If you have ever been a Scout, you know how devastating the loss of your local camp is. Our current Scouts and leaders will be attending a final Camporee next month. However, many former Scouts asked to be able to visit one last time, so a separate event has been planned. This was posted last night….

“Saturday August 31 3-5pm we are hosting an open house for everyone; from
current scouts to past scouts; to come out to walk thru camp. This is a chance to say goodbye to SCOUT camp CBH. From 5-7 we will have dinner (cost TBD) and then a campfire. You will need to register for the event so we can get a dinner headcount. We will have a special patch for this event as well. Please email [email protected] to RSVP.”

Come join us for a fall festival at Highland Hills Baptist Church!

Bring your kids to the Fall Family Fest at HHBC this afternoon for lots of fall fun. We’ll have three large inflatables, the Shiver Shack truck, games, hotdogs, and live music! And it’s all free! See you there from 4 – 6 pm.

This summer we will be offering three events for our scouts to participate and stay active with the Pack. As with all our events, each of these is open to the entire family. Also, if you have anyone you know who are interested in learning more about Cub Scouts or just want to have some fun this summer, please share this information.

Pack 170 will be having an exciting summertime activity June 25th from 10-12:30 at Macon Rocks. Join us for a rock climbing and bouldering adventure. The $18.00 charge will get you, your family, and your friends a full day of climbing. The pack will have the party room reserved from 10-12:30.
