The Canoe Build returns to Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park!
John John Brown of the The Muscogee Nation & Pedro Zepeda of the Seminole Tribe of Florida will use modern & traditional methods to construct the canoe, and once it is completed, it will become a permanent exhibit inside the museum.
We invite you to come out June 6-10 to watch the process, meet John John & Pedro, and be ready to learn a lot!
The build will take place near the outdoor classroom in front of the Visitor Center.
The Ocmulgee Mounds Association is proud to support this interpretive program and new exhibit! Special thanks to The Muscogee Nation for making this project possible.

FREE GOLF!!!

We need three young professionals to play in the Chamber's golf tournament at Idle Hour on Monday. No charge. We have a team that cannot make it at the last minute and would like to offer the slots to young professionals!

You will be playing on a team with Bill Wiley – a Past Chairman for the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. Tee-off is at 12 noon.
Lunch and an awards reception is included.
