I realized that I haven't posted pics of any of the TNVR kitties lately, so here are some recent recipients. I worked with these 3 kittens for a week getting them used to eating near, then under the drop trap. They always ate together, while their momma kept a look out and only ate when the last kitten finished (such a great mom). Mom is already TNVR'd. BTW, these kitties were all girls! Soooo many litters have now been prevented in this small colony.

We had to say goodbye to Tiny today. Her eyes did not respond to treatment as we had hoped and they were extremely swollen and painful. She was such a sweet, trusting little soul, who loved belly rubs and snuggles. Tiny made a big impression on all who cared for her in the short time we had her. She will always have a piece of our hearts.

I want to thank Kate Shattuck for her diligence in caring for Tiny this past week. You gave her a gentle space in which to be safe, well fed, and loved.

Many thanks to Dr. Karen Blakeley and the staff at All Pets Veterinary Clinic for their expertise and care for Tiny. You always go above and beyond and we appreciate you all very much.

Thank you also to Dr. Jamie McClure for her great kindness in helping Tiny in her final moments. Your unexpected generosity has truly touched our hearts.

Four more lovely kittens that we trapped earlier this year are available for adoption through the McDonough County Animal Shelter! They are all spayed/neutered, have had their first shots, and looking for loving homes.

Honestly, how can you resist those faces?

Delta and Gamma are a bonded pair boys. Playful, but a bit shy, they love to snuggle together when they are not chasing toys. They have been neutered and vaccinated and are ready to get into a loving home.

If basic black is your style, have we got cats for you! Eloise is the regal and devoted mother to not just her 3 little voids, but also step-mom to the Frat boys. In addition to being gorgeous, she is calm and loving. Alpha is 3 months old, playful, and outgoing, with a smattering of white whiskers & hairs. Both have been altered and vaccinated and are available through the McDonough County Animal Shelter.

Eloise's babies are the most adorable bundles of kitten joy and are old enough to be adopted as well. They will be spayed/neutered soon!

Tiny loves her salmon slurry! We love to see her getting her appetite back. Volume up for some cute kitten sounds. 😺

Tiny Update: Her fever is down a bit. We don't yet know what condition her eyes are in since everything is still so swollen. She will be leaving the vet to go into foster care today.

UPDATE: We have found a foster! Thank you to all the kind souls who have offered to help. You are truly appreciated!

We desperately need a foster for Tiny! She was rescued from a colony yesterday and is currently receiving medical care at All Pets. She was unable to see, underweight, & dehydrated. She will require eye drops 2-3x day, possibly some antibiotics, definitely some healthy food, and snuggles. If you have a 🩷 for the underdogs, Tiny is for you!
