The 2022 9th Annual Veterans Day Hunt went off without a hitch this year! We had a few donors and hunters cancel but that's all part of the logistics "fun" of making it happen. No deer were harmed this year lol. Many were seen, but were passed on for various ethical and other supported reasons. Please remember that whether we harvest deer or not that day, is not how we measure success.

The day was a definite success because the intent was met. To give veterans a free place to hunt on their day, to surround them with other veterans so they feel the brotherhood they miss so much, to sprinkle in some civilians so they can hang out with and see how veterans act when they are around their brothers and sisters. It's actually comical to hear the branches poking fun at the other branches, because each branch was taught they were the best lol.

Special shout out to all of the donors and helpers who pitched in to make the 9th Annual Veterans Day Hunt a success. I won't call them out by name, the majority of them shy away from recognition.

Please know that without your generous donations and/or time, the hunt would not have grown to be what it is today. I started out very small and you all helped me grow it, which allows us to honor lots more veterans every year.

It's October now, you may start seeing posts from me regarding our 9th Annual Veteran's Day Hunt. Most of you already know me and are aware of this hunt, what it means, who it's for, how it all goes down. many of you donate your time, money, land, used equipment, etc to ensure these veterans have an amazing day on their holiday. Many of them cannot afford land or even a lease, some of them this is the only time they get to hunt all year.
