Membership Requirements:

Be an LEJA Major or Minor
Have an overall GPA of at least 3.2
Have an LEJA GPA of at least 3.2

***Transfer students and Freshman are also eligible to become members of Alpha Phi Sigma. They just have different ways of meeting the same requirements. We allow transfer students and Freshman to attend all of our meetings their first semester here but they will only be

considered pre-members. Once a Western Illinois University GPA is established and if the required 3.2 GPA is met, they will be eligible to become a full time member.***

Membership Benefits:

Being a member of Alpha Phi Sigma enables you to list your membership as an Honors Award" on a resume or job application. If you are looking for a federal job, being a member of Alpha Phi Sigma automatically helps you to meet one requirement for entrance at the GS-7 level. Alpha Phi Sigma gives you the opportunity to purchase graduation regalia which includes: an honor stole, an honor medallion, and an honor cord. All of which you will wear on your graduation day to help you stand out amongst the crowd.
