Our Story

Since 2011, Emily’s Happy Day Lemonade Stand has been participating in National Lemonade Day. Founded by Emily Broadbridge (now 13 years old) the lemonade stand has contributed money to various organizations with a primary focus on supporting homeless children through The Homeless Education Project.

Starting in 2016, Emily’s brother Michael (now 9 years old) joined the event and the event was renamed Emily & Michael’s Happy Day Lemonade Stand.

All expense for this annual event are covered by the Broadbridge family enabling Emily and Michael to donate 100% of the proceeds. Since 2011 this annual event has raised over $33,000. Special thanks to the many supporters that have made this event so successful.

Did you know that there are currently more than 1,400 homeless students in Macomb County?
