We know staying home isn't as fun as being here but here are some things you can do to keep physically and mentally healthy:

-Schedule specific times for grandchildren, relatives and friends. Making this a daily ritual assures you stay connected to others while remaining physically isolated. Phone calls, FaceTime, social media and even email can help you feel less lonely.

-Play games daily to keep your mind sharp. Even a few minutes a day can stimulate healthy brain activity. Try solving a puzzle, playing matching games or word searches.

-Stay active. It might be tempting to be lax on your exercise at home but staying active is important to maintaining physical health. Simple leg lifts, stretches or even just walking down the hall a couple times us all you need.
