We would like to congratulate Mackinac Connect for their first place award with $2,500. Our community would not be where it is today without the help of everything you do. Congratulations to Mackinac Arts Council who got second place with $1,000. You truly make this community come alive with love and laughter. Last but certainly not least, congratulations to the Mackinac Island Marine Rescue who was awarded $500. This community knows just how helpful you are to this island as a whole. You keep this island safe. We are so happy we are able to make events like this happen. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to make this event come together. This island and this community are one of a kind and it is always a wonderful time when we take time to appreciate everything and everyone we have here. A very special thank you to Emily Kenyon for keeping us entertained with wonderful live music, Sara Macy who was there as our photographer, John Hulett (Grand Hotel) who provided the table clothes, Mary Patay & Mike Ruddle (Recreation Department) who made it possible to have the picnic at Turtle Park, thank you to The Original Murdick’s Fudge and Pink Pony for supplying food for everyone, and lastly, to the Mackinac State Historic Parks for supplying tables and chairs!! This picnic would not have come together without all of you!!!
