Are you a parent who wants to pursue a college education while receiving support for yourself and your family? Family Futures Downeast may be the opportunity you've been looking for.

FFD participants receive support that may include:

💰 Financial literacy resources
🎓 Guidance throughout your educational journey

To be eligible, applicants must:
✔ Have at least one child under age 18
✔ Live in Washington County or Eastern Hancock County
✔ Not have a Bachelor's Degree
✔ Have a desire to attend UMM or WCCC

Members of the FFD Staff participated in the CCC Vision Day 2026 event. Jessie and Marsha discussed the organization's origins, stemming from a vision day in 2012, and highlighted its substantial growth since then. It was a great day had by all!

Today, Family Futures Downeast honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

As we spend time with family and friends, we pause to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifices have helped protect the freedoms and opportunities we cherish every day.

We extend our gratitude to the military families who carry the legacy of their loved ones and hold them close in our hearts.
