Family Futures Downeast is excited to continue our partnership with University Credit Union (UCU) to support financial wellness for FFD and Start Up students and alumni! 💚

Our first Financial Wellness Workshop of the year takes place tomorrow! It’s the first of four workshops designed to help participants build money management skills, gain confidence, and work toward their financial goals.

This partnership is one of the ways FFD supports families as they pursue education, employment, and greater financial stability. We’re grateful to UCU for their continued support! @

📣 ACAP has a new name and a new look!

We’re excited to share that ACAP is now Avec Community Action.

“Avec” means “with,” reflecting the organization’s commitment to working with people, families, and communities throughout Aroostook, Washington, and Hancock counties.

While the name and logo have changed, the mission remains the same: helping individuals and families find support, stability, opportunity, and a way forward.

Welcome, Avec Community Action—A Way Forward.
