So the final numbers are in! Thanks to every donor, supporter, vendor, business and volunteer we raised 1279.85!!!! WOW is all I can say, it’s nuts! We are so grateful for the wonderful turn out of the event! And EVERY dime went to RH Foster in Maine Veterans Project account to help veterans with their heating bills this winter!

Good morning! We want to thank EVERYONE for attending yesterday’s event, it was such a big success, (was also a very hot day), we have professional photos on the way, we have had so much support and we could not have done it with out everyone’s help. We learned so much along the way of this 7-8 month journey, and it’s thanks to ALL of you! The next part in this is to get the silent auction items out to all of you! Which our goal for that is this week! We raised a lot of awareness, had loads of fun, drank plenty of water and we had a few veterans receive resources!

Today was an ABSOLUTE success! We will be posting many pictures and videos soon! But for now, we are tired after a long day, we started setting up at 7 am. Have this video that was taken before the event started!

We can’t believe it’s this time, all the work that has been put in and how big this event is about to be.

So this is a good time to post the following information:

-Registration for the event starts at 11am on 8/6
-Competition BEGINS at 1pm
-The day of the event, registration is 7 dollars
-Veterans compete for FREE
-Adult prize is $200 cash!
-Kid competition prize is 2 Ultimate passes to Urban Air
-There is also going to be CO****LE, Music, beverages, and food!

We have some big news! Any kids who decide to participate, and compete in the Rock Paper Scissors competition, has a chance to WIN, and they will win 2 ULTIMATE passes to Urban air Trampoline park in Bangor Maine! PLUS a pair of their special socks! We thank Urban Air so much for this donation, let’s get this WHOLE community involved both adults and KIDS!

Lots of great news to share today! We want to thank Bluebird Ranch and Tri Town Marine for posting our flyers in their businesses! Bluebird also has graciously donated us a gift card for our silent auction!
Other silent auction items we have had confirmed this past week: 2 free movie passes to the Bangor Cinema, a donation from Crows Nest store in Machias, a gift card to BAM! In Bangor, two mystery tackle boxes from Dicks Sporting Goods, and a Bluetooth speaker tumbler cup from True Value right here in town!
