A Mothers Love

A Mothers Love was started in May of 2014 by trading and selling things in our driveway and back porch. As of November 9th, 2016 we were blessed to hold our “Free Shops" in memory of Linda Spence-White at North Park Covenant Church in Machesney Park. We became an all-free non-profit that helps with anything we can, even if it’s just one thing! This was all started with a mother’s huge collection o

f things that was left after her passing, her caring side, and a similar vision she had for herself. We officially became “A Mothers Love" and continue to grow with the community’s support. Since being in our church we outgrew our space and could not meet needs efficiently. In order to meet needs at a faster pace and have more availability for people to come, we decided to go back to our roots a little. As of November 1st 2021, we were blessed with a building to hold events in. However, we are solely funded on volunteers and the community. Therefore, we are asking for monetary donations for *some* items in order to provide for the building and utilities. We hope to get sponsors to be all free again. This has allowed us to meet needs at a much faster rate, be more available to the community, have weekend free shops, still do our monthly collections and allows us to do all of our wonderful yearly events. **Please call, text or send private message to Samantha Swinbank for drop off locations & times. Drop offs are in Machesney Park, Loves Park, and Rockton. Please do NOT leave donations at the church or building unless arranged to do so.
** ONLY Samantha Swinbank and Barb Kersey are authorized to pick up any corporate/business donations.
**Items are not to be taken to be sold from our Free Shops; if caught reselling you will be banned & further actions will be taken. **
**We do NOT accept illegal, expired, & recalled items. All donations can receive a tax receipt. **
