Last night at the Golden Globes, Aria Mia Loberti made history as the first legally blind actress to walk the red carpet with her guide dog. Loberti stars in the Golden Globe nominated limited series All the Light We Cannot See. She discussed the importance of authentic representation in film and TV, saying “This is the first time in history we’ve had authentic representation for a character in a film of this size, it was my honor to represent my community and my culture. It’s never been done before, and that’s a really big responsibility.” Representation matters, and Aria Mia Loberti is paving the way for more inclusion in Hollywood.
