Finally back to a place that makes my heart so happy! Sometimes we switch to a movement session and involve a story to add in that literacy piece! My favorite part was ending in prayer where many of the children shared their personal prayers! Many of these prayers included being thankful to be alive which completely melted my heart It also readjusted my focus! Being able to look through the lens 📷 of a child is super cool and heartwarming! 🥰

So glad to be back with the Pathways After School program at Laura’s Home The City Mission 💛 I’ve missed my weekly yoga & craft session with these awesome kids!! Today we focused on bringing our sunshine ☀️ & sharing our beautiful light 💡 with others! We made positive affirmation “I AM” sunshine ☀️ crafts & created a delicious edible sun 🌞

One of our Laura’s Home moms!! 🎉😍

Our recent graduate completed the ACCESS to Manufacturing Program where she completed 44 courses over three weeks to earn her PMA Certification in Manufacturing! 👏

She was recognized for receiving the highest scores with every employer she interviewed with and was offered a job!

She is now working and shared, “This is a new beginning for me and my boys. God is coming through on what He promised. The Laura’s Home staff kept saying “be patient” and look where He’s brought me from September to February!”
