If you are in need of baby items, someone has dropped off a bunch at the Macedon Center Food Pantry. Please take what you need ASAP before it all gets taken to good will. If you want to pick it up and take it to good will or donate it to someplace else, please feel free to take all of it.

Just a reminder, the food pantry accepts non-perishable foods, toiletries and paper products and if you have something else to donate, please use the red donation bin next to the pantry. If it does not fit in the red donation bin, please do not leave it outside the red bin.

Take what you need, give what you can.

Special thanks to Brooke's Enterprise for their donation to the Macedon Center Food Pantry. They contacted us and wanted to give back to the community, so we arranged to have a few turkey dinners, with all the sides, donated to families in need.

It's people and businesses like them that make our organization possible to those in the community in need.

Thank you again, and thank you to all of you who make this possible.

Take what you need, give what you can.

Thank you Jaz Trucking of Macedon NY for your more than generous donation to the Macedon Center Food Pantry. We will be able to stock our shelves and be able to provide food to the community and those in need for many, many weeks. Part of your donation will be going towards our Thanksgiving baskets, which provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need.

Without community support and local businesses like Jaztrucking.com, we would not be able to make this available to the community and those in need.

If you are a local business owner, group or club and would like to support our cause, please send us a FB message.

Take what you need and give what you can.

The Macedon Center Food Pantry is back up and running. The door has been unlocked and there are no set times, it's open 24/7 for those in need. It was locked up due to food and supplies running low and two separate individuals who continue to empty the food pantry every chance they get. Those two individuals were confronted and they replied with a nasty attitude, foul language and basically stated they will do whatever they want to do and leave absolutely nothing else for anyone in need.

We encourage the community members to drop off food and keep the pantry stocked. We will not be stocking it every other day due to the abuse and lack of care or concern for others in need. If you are a business and want to sponsor the food shed, please message us. If you are an individual, group or club and would like to organize a food drive, please contact us, as we have all the supplies and materials to make it happen.

It's a shame that a very small percentage of people that utilize the food shed ruin it for the very large percentage that utilize it and think of others when taking food and supplies.

If you have any questions, concerns or would like to help us, please send us a message.

Take what you need, give what you can.

With the cold weather finally arriving we are in need of non-perishable foods that will not freeze. Good examples of these products are dry cereals, dry beans, pasta and anything else you can think of that will not be affected by freezing temperatures.

As always, the food pantry is open 24/7 and small donations can be dropped off directly in the pantry. Larger donations can be arranged to be picked up or dropped off by messaging us at the macedon center food pantry FB page.

If you are a small local business and would like to sponsor the food pantry, you can also reach out to us on our FB page. We are also currently looking for groups and organizations who would like to organize or help with fundraisers this year, so please reach out to us if you are interested.

Take what you need, give what you can.

Just a friendly reminder that the Macedon Center Food Pantry only accepts food items and paper products (napkins, paper towels, paper plates and toilet paper). Goodwill items, such as clothes, shoes, boots, blankets, etc... are not accepted and should be taken to Goodwill in Macedon or one of the small drop off boxes throughout the county.

A few nights ago, someone left many large garbage bags and a suitcase filled with clothes and shoes. A community member posted about this, reminding the community that it is a food pantry and not a goodwill drop box and again, last night, someone dropped off more bags of clothes and shoes. These items were taken to Goodwill this afternoon but they were so dirty and covered in so much dog hair, that Goodwill would not accept them and they had to be disposed of at Alpco. This takes someone's time and money, even though Alpco was kind enough to dispose of them for us for free.

If you can't eat it, eat off of it, clean your face with it or wipe your butt, please do not leave it at the food pantry.

We do not want to review our cameras and figure out who is doing this, but next time it happens, we will. We are again, kindly asking, that only food and paper products be dropped off and if you have questions or are in doubt, read the signs that are posted at the food pantry.

Thank you to the community for all of your support with providing food and paper products for those in need. It's a shame that a few individuals continue to abuse the pantry and make more work for those that already work very hard to provide this to the community.

Take what you need, give what you can.
