is designed to be a community research and child development center, reaching not only the next generation, but also the parents and adults linked to the lives of these children, all within a safe, Christian environment. During this time, our doors will be open to adults and college-aged students as a research center and quiet place to study. We will also be open to different ministries around the
community, providing a place for meetings and counseling sessions. We will have a contact information board advertising services provided throughout the community, such as church activities, music lessons, and volunteer groups, as well as help for battered women, those who are struggling with addiction, links to marriage counselors, etc… At 2:00 p.m., C.R.A.S.H. will transition from a learning center into an after-school program. The program will provide a safe environment for middle and high school students to work on homework. There will also be counseling, group/individual sessions, tutoring, team- building activities, etc., provided to encourage learning and friendship-building. These workshops will be led by volunteers who share a heart for helping the next generation of our community leaders. To do so, C.R.A.S.H. will need to incorporate as a non-profit organization in the state of Florida, acquire a store-front location with enough space to provide an adequate study environment, purchase furniture and technology to create a state-of- the-art learning center, as well as interview and run background checks on all volunteers, and advertise within schools and the community. Funding will be sought through government grants, individuals sharing the vision, and various fundraisers. The mission of C.R.A.S.H. is to provide a safe, Christian environment for learning, and to awaken the next generation, bringing them to the point where what they profess and what they do, actually collide. We want to breed students in Baker County that have all of the qualities C.R.A.S.H. stands for. These are, COURAGE to stand out above the crowd, RESPONSIBILITY to do what is right, AMBITION to chase their dreams, SUCCESS to achieve greatness, and HONESTY for leading a life of integrity. We believe that this goal will help groom leaders, bring up school grades, and make our community better as a whole.
