The YMCA is bringing back the FREE SWIMMING LESSONS!!

The YMCA in partnership with Keller Community Association and Baker County Schools, the Baker County YMCA is proud to offer FREE swimming lessons! Learning to swim is a lifelong skill. Our caring, certified instructors teach kids and adults swim and safety skills, all while finding joy in and around the water.

Y Swim Lessons is part of the Safety Around Water Initiative
• Kindergarten thru 5th Grade
• Boosts Water Safety Skills
• Certified Child-Friendly Instructors

Week of MAY 4th-8th (20 Spots!)
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (2 classes)

Ariya's Act (Florida SB 554) is a 2024 law that designates April as "Hot Car Death Prevention Month" to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles. Named after our granddaughter, 10-month-old Ariya Paige, who died in a hot car in 2023, the Act promotes education and preventive measures.

What can you do to help?
Raise awareness to stop hot-car tragedies.
Push lawmakers to mandate rear seat alert systems.
