Behavior Support Professional (BSP)
Full-Time (4 day week (Monday - Thursday) | Maben, WV | $20.00–$22.00hr (based on experience) | Benefits | No On-Call/No after hours/ No weekends
Integrated Resources, Inc. (IRI) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavior Support Professional (BSP) to join our team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through West Virginia's Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Waiver (IDDW) Program.
This is a full-time position based in Maben, West Virginia, with a pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on education, qualifications, and experience.
What You'll Do
As a Behavior Support Professional, you will work directly with individuals, families, and our IDDW team to develop and implement positive, person-centered behavioral supports.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop, implement, monitor, and revise Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Conduct behavioral assessments and evaluate behavioral data.
• Identify strategies to address challenging behaviors while promoting independence and quality of life.
• Train and support direct-care staff in implementing behavioral strategies.
• Provide ongoing behavioral consultation to individuals, families, and staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Complete required clinical documentation.
• Monitor individuals' progress and make recommendations when changes are needed.
• Ensure services comply with WV BMS IDDW requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet WV Bureau for Medical Services requirements for a Behavior Support Professional (BSP I or BSP II).
BSP I candidates need:
• A Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a human services field or qualifying Board of Regents degree.
• At least one year of professional experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, or the ability to meet applicable BMS clinical-supervision requirements.
• Required Positive Behavior Support training, including an approved WV-APBS curriculum, or the ability to complete required BSP training within the timeframe permitted by WV BMS.
• Ability to successfully complete all required background checks, training, and IDDW credentialing requirements.

Preferred Experience
Previous WV IDDW experience is preferred but not required. Experience with any of the following is also beneficial:
• Intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Positive Behavior Support
• Functional behavior assessments
• Behavioral data collection and analysis
• Developing behavior support plans
• Training direct-care staff
• Case management or IDDW MountainHeart Community Services, Inc.
