If you are a woman 16 years of age or older, who is a lineal or collateral blood descendant of men and women who served honorably in the Army, Navy, or Civil Service of the Confederate States of America, or who gave Material Aid to the Cause, we invite you to contact us for more information on becoming a member. e objectives of the society are Historical, Benevolent, Educational, Memorial and Patriotic. Our activities range from preserving our Confederate Heritage and honoring the memory of our Confederate ancestors, to providing educational scholarships, performing charitable works in our communities, as well as honoring our past and present military service members. There are opportunities for learning, for fun, and for friendship as a member of the UDC. The Children of the Confederacy is an auxiliary of the UDC, and is open to boys and girls up to 18 years of age who are descendants of those persons who provided honorable service to the Confederacy.
