Mabank ISD Education Foundation Making a difference in the lives of our children

The Mabank ISD Education Foundation, established in 2009, is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose purpose is to generate private support for education projects for which tax dollars are not available. The Mabank ISD Education Foundation and the Mabank Independent School District share the same vision of providing students with the best possible education. The Education Foundation operates in

dependently and is governed by a separate Board of Directors consisting of local business and community leaders. The Mabank ISD Education Foundation will support educational excellence to enhance student achievement, recognize exemplary staff involvement and foster community support. In addition, this corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to benefit the Mabank Independent School District.

Today was our final stop on the 2025-26 Foundation Breakfast tour. We served the fine folks from administration, maintenance, custodial services, child nutrition, special programs, technology and DAEP. Especially grateful to Simmons Bank, The Kiss Donut Factory , Velvet Grind and the MISDEF board for their support in making these breakfasts happen.

Deadline is today for t-shirts!! Still time to join our Dash Down Market 5K Fun Run/Walk!

Lace up your running shoes, don your favorite St. Patty's gear, and join us for the Dash Down Market 5K Fun Run/Walk, Saturday, March 21. This community race is open to all ages and fitness levels. Every step you take helps support Mabank ISD educators and students, through the Mabank ISD Education Foundation.

Registration begins at 7:30 am at the Lumber Yard in Downtown Mabank. The race begins at 8:30 am. Registration is $35. MISD students are free unless a t-shirt is ordered at which point the fee is $20. Deadline for securing a race day t-shirt is Thursday, March 12 (must be registered and paid). Prizes will be awarded per age category and for best costumes.
