I will let Tracy Curry do the official thanking of everyone who contributed to the success of our festival. I would hate to miss anyone. She makes all the lists and checks them twice…lol.
But I do want to thank my committee.Tracy, Alicia White, Crystal Emmel and Melissa Mac Edward Juhl. Thankfully, we are all night owls because our group texts are 24/7 the final month before the event…lol. We send each other ideas all year..laugh, commiserate when life is life-ing, are busy with our own lives and work so well together like we have been doing this forever. It’s actually only been about 3ish years with our current committee. Tracy, my co-chair is the only other OG member when I took over the festival 9 years ago. We have had several other fabulous members during this time that helped us make it to this point. This was our 18th year!
At dinner, at yummy Gabriels, we already started talking about fundraising ideas and a possible theme for next year. We love our Lyons Community Center staff, our community that extends past Lyons and our festival. We are looking forward to getting back to just our “normal” busy lives.
See you all again next year for our 19th year and trust me we are already imagining what we will do for our 20th! Love you ladies and I can’t wait to see what we come up with for next year! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎃
