Each year, the wonderful folks at the Department of Social Services conduct a food drive to benefit the Lyons Community Food Pantry. This year, with the needs greater than in years past, their generosity was absolutely overwhelming! Thank you so much for your donations, the community members that we serve appreciate your kindness and compassion.

We would like to thank the Lyons Public Library and their patrons for their recent donation! The library just completed a very successful food drive, and we really appreciate the efforts of everyone involved. We would also like to thank the Lyons Elk Lodge for their very generous donation. They are wonderful members of our community, and they have been very supportive over the years. Finally, we have recently received several donations from community members who wish to remain anonymous. While we will honor their request, we would like to thank them for their generosity. If you would like to make a monetary donation to the food pantry, please make checks payable to the Lyons Community Food Pantry. Thank you all for your support!

To our Lyons Community Food Pantry clients:
The Christmas box applications will not be sent out this year, due to staffing changes, and the crazy cost of postage. Please feel free to stop by the pantry any time between 11:00 and 1:00 Monday thru Friday, and pick one up. The deadline to return the completed form is November 14th. The boxes will be delivered on December 13th. Have a great day!
