There was worship, education, encouragement, a Christian cinema, snacks and soda's, plus a football game to boot! A day to remember for our students in AF as well as local village children. I was not able to join the event due to flight cancelations because of the war. But we thank God for the AF board members, local churches & schools, AF mentors and others who volunteered to help make this annual even still happen. Praise the Lord!

Meet Florence, she is in the green shirt. She was born & raised in the ghettos of Huruma. For years she has worked for Hope Flow Children’s Center. She works weekly day through night for about $1 a day. Even during the current lock downs with the riots & tear gas, she remains strong & humble with the orphans. This is not natural, this is a God thing.

Hope Flow Children’s Center is located here in Huruma. It is rumored 2 more people have been shot & killed. The children remain safely indoors locked down with food & water. Tear gas was deployed by police during the riots and the children have been coughing a couple days but they remain safely locked indoors. Unfortunately, riots give opportunity for thugs to break in. Please Pray.

This “pastor” is alleged to have murdered over 400 of his followers, many children. This is why I bring study skills to Kenya so people don’t follow any preacher. We are responsible to seek God first ourselves through personal studies in the Scriptures then suppliment your knowledge with others gifted to teach accurately.

These are snaps of the December celebration in the village that the mentors organized for our orphans. The children connected with the mentors, board members, spiritual counselors and with some warm food! We even had enough left over to share with local village children that surrounded our camp❤️

Now we can rejoice in a final, successful outcome! The profits from this project help sustain our program for the orphans. This is a great community that pulls together for the whole village!
