This is not an official Bountiful Baskets Facebook group. This is a Facebook group for those who participate at the Lynnwood Food Bank Pick-up location for Bountiful Baskets Food Co-op. We're proud to be a part of the nation-wide Bountiful Baskets Food Co-Op, serving the Lynnwood and surrounding communities. Our site is located at the Lynnwood Food Bank located at 5320 176th St SW -- just off High
way 99 in north Lynnwood. Our program is entirely volunteer-run, and is an easy and affordable way to bring fresh produce to your family's table at a fraction of the cost of grocery or club stores. There is no hassle or commitment that delivery subscription programs sometimes have! It's easy: Make your monetary contribution by logging in at www.BountifulBaskets.org between Monday at noon Mountain Time and Tuesday at 10:00 pm and select the Lynnwood site of Snohomish County in Washington State. We pool all the money, then spend it all where the grocery stores shop so we all get the best possible value. Each Saturday morning, come to our Lynnwood site with your contribution receipt handy & your own basket or bags to collect your baskets of fresh produce and any extras you've signed up for like bread, granola, or other special goodies! We ask that participants volunteer every 6 times they contribute. Volunteers can show up an hour before pickup each Saturday (honor system - no need to sign up, just show up!) to help divide up the produce before all the participants arrive to take home their baskets. It's great to help, as it ensures even distribution for all -- plus you get the chance to enjoy a little fellowship amongst other friendly volunteers!
