In 1954,Lynnfield felt the first signs of a post-war transformation from its agrarian past to its suburban future. For seven decades the society has provided lectures, presentations, book talks, celebrations, and perfor

At our April 21st Meeting, our guest speakers were Wakefield-based authors, Doug Heath and Alison Simcox. When the couple started researching their second of many local history books, Breakheart Reservation, they came across a true crime murder mystery that tugged at their curiosity and would not let go. Their in depth research resulted in their third book, Murder at Breakheart Hill Farm. Doug and Alison took us along their research trail and had us all on the edge of our seats.

If you were unable to attend in person, we have a treat for you. The authors generously permitted recording and sharing of their presentation so that you can now see the entire program on our YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/Hto_9N8IhuI?si=wEynrfXPJwHCodSp
