🌊🦞 What a magical day of discovery for our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders! Thanks to the Northeastern University Marine Science Center and Friends of Lynn & Nahant Beach, our students had the opportunity to explore local marine ecosystems up close.

From lobsters, sea stars, crabs, and clams to all kinds of fascinating seaweed, students enjoyed a hands-on learning experience that brought science to life! 🦀⭐🐚🌿

A huge thank you to our volunteers and community partners who helped make this special day possible. Learning is always an adventure at Brickett School! 💙📚

The Brickett PTO is excited to help share this important invitation from Brickett Elementary School.

📅 Saturday, June 6 | 9:00–11:00 a.m.
📍 Red Rock Park

Join Rooms 4 and 14 as our Grade 1 students lead a meaningful community project—helping clean our local beach! These young changemakers have proudly committed to caring for their community and are partnering with the Friends of Lynn and Nahant Beach to make a real impact.

✨ Why come?

• Lend a hand in keeping our shoreline clean
• Show our Grade 1 leaders that their actions matter!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we also pause to reflect with gratitude for those who gave so much for our freedoms. ❤️🤍💙

🎶🇺🇸 We are excited to invite you to our Memorial Day Concert on Monday, May 18 at 9:30 AM in the upstairs auditorium! 🎤🎻🥁

Performances will feature Chorus, Grade 3, Grade 1, First- and Second-Year Strings, and First-Year Band. 🎼✨

The concert will last approximately 35–40 minutes. ⏰

🎁💗 Today was Feel Good Friday! 💗🎁

We wrapped up Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week by delivering self-care gift bags to our incredible Brickett teachers & staff, a small reminder to take a little time for themselves after a week spent caring for everyone else. 💗

This week was filled with coffee & bagels, yoga & meditation, hydration stations, pocket heart crystals, snacks, treats, heartfelt notes, and so many moments of appreciation. But more than anything, it was about making sure our staff felt seen, valued, and celebrated for everything they do each and every day. 🐯

To our Brickett teachers & staff:
Thank you for the energy, patience, kindness, support, and heart you bring to our students and school community. We appreciate you more than words can say. 💗

And while Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week may be ending, the celebration isn’t over just yet! We look forward to seeing everyone again on the next half day, May 20th, for a special luncheon. 💗

💌💗 Today was Thank You Thursday! 💗💌

Over the last two weeks, Brickett students and families were encouraged to write notes to teachers & staff and drop them into our Thank You mailbox in the school foyer.

Today, all of those notes, drawings, kind words, and sweet treats were delivered! 💗

We even had the honor of reading a few of them—and wow… these messages truly came from the heart. Some were thoughtful, some were funny, and some were so innocently honest and sweet that they completely melted us. 🥹🐯

Moments like this are such a beautiful reminder of the connections our teachers & staff build with students every single day.

If you didn’t get a chance to send in a note, don’t worry—the mailbox is still there! Or feel free to leave a message in the comments below and we’ll make sure your kind words are passed along. 💗

Continuing to celebrate our Teachers & Staff....

🍪💗 Yesterday was Refuel Wednesday! 💗🍪
Midweek called for a little extra fuel for our amazing Brickett teachers & staff! The lounge was stocked with grab-and-go favorites including granola bars, protein packs, sweet treats, salty snacks, and plenty of options to help everyone recharge during a busy day.

Whether they needed something quick between classes, a little afternoon pick-me-up, or just a moment to pause, we hope there was something for everyone. 💗

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week has been all about encouraging our staff to take a moment for themselves—and yesterday was a reminder that even small moments of care can go a long way. 🐯💗
