Thursday, June 18th - DDGM Official Visit St. Andrews Lodge #212 Dinner at 6:00 Meeting at 7:00pm
Thursday, June 18th - Harry Jackson Lodge Practice for Master Mason Degree at 6:30pm
Friday, July 10th - Grand Master Official Visit at Shaddai Shrine. This will be a NON-TILED meeting and your Ladies and guest are invited to attend. Dress will be Coat and Tie. Make your RSVP before June 26th.
Saturday Morning, July 11th - at 9:00am Eastern Time, there will be a Forum with Most Worshipful Grand Master Haskell Vest at Jackson Lodge #1 (2818 Apalachee Parkway) in Tallahassee for Master Masons only, for Districts four, five, and six. All Master Masons are asked to attend, and all Elected Officers are encouraged to attend. Breakfast will be served at 8:00am by the Tallahassee Scottish Rite

Dave Thomas was indeed a Freemason, and this makes for a good story, ha! but actually, the reason is because Dave doesn’t cut any corners!!! Also Colonel Sanders the founder of KFC was also a Freemason and he helped Dave get started.

DID YOU KNOW? There was a Masonic Initiation in the White House? In June 1867, Andrew Johnson became the first president to undergo a masonic initiation at the White House. His executive schedule prevented him from holding the ceremony at the masonic Temple on 9th and F Streets Northwest and the initiation moved to the White House. Benjamin B. French, former commissioner of public buildings and Grand Master of Masons, presided over the initiation.
