Fellow Zone and District 35 L Lions Club Panama City Lions Club held its annual Gopher Races on Saturday 9/26/26. It was a lot of fun. I'm told the club raised around $4000! This club is a wonderful group that assists people in the community, especially with vision and hearing needs, and they also give scholarships. They raise money so they can give back. Lynn Haven Lions Club was there Saturday in support. There were also members of both an existing and a recently formed Leo Club. Youth from Bay High and Rutherford were there, and Mosley is also starting a Leo Club. Lions Clubs offer great opportunities to do good work in communities. You can contact Panama City or Lynn Haven Lions Clubs for more information if you need assistance or wish to join (send a message!) The motto is "We serve."
