All families in Lyndon will thrive by feeling connected, supported and empowered in their community

All Things Lyndon is a community initiative with the key goal of strengthening all Lyndon families by providing opportunities to ensure all children are ready to enter school and be a part of their community. To help families in Lyndon thrive, we aim to provide opportunities for families to feel connected, supported and empowered in their community. Our primary initiatives include creating social

connections through fun events for local families,establishing a Family Fund that provides financial assistance and scholarships for Lyndon families, and developing the All Thing Lyndon website where community members can find information on local events and resources. All Things Lyndon-Lyndon Promise Community was supported through funding Vermont received through the Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge federal grant. Our primarily focus is serving families with children six or under but believe our efforts can have positive impacts for the entire community

Building Bright Futures(BBF) is excited to announce the launch of a video project to capture the experiences of VT families.
Thanks to a connection made by BBF Regional Manager, Ali Dieng, BBF has contracted with Armadillo Collective to create a series of short documentary style videos about the realities VT families are navigating. The videos will combine what we heard through the 2025 RAPID survey project and current family experiences.
We are seeking parents and caregivers who are open to being filmed, sharing a glimpse of everyday family life and speaking honestly about things like the rising costs of living and what families need to thrive. Participating parents will be supported throughout the production process and compensated for their time.
We plan to begin filming this Fall and will produce about 3 videos that will be released at the end of the year.

Hi Friends!
The next Family Fun Friday event is from 4-6 pm July 10 at Lyndonville Bandstand Park!
We have Ladder the life size whale joining us! "Ladder" is a 65-foot inflatable fin whale modeled after a real fin whale studied in the Gulf of Maine by the Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation. Visitors can walk inside this life-size replica to learn about marine biology, baleen plates, and whale anatomy firsthand. In addition, many community partners will be on hand with a variety of activities for children and families. The Lyndon Farmers Market will also be open during the event-don't miss it!
The event will be held at the Fenton Chester Arena in case of poor weather(145 College Road, Lyndon). Sponsored by Building Bright Futures and Burklyn Arts Council.

Hi Friends! Our next Family Fun Friday event is July 10, 4-6 pm~We have Ladder the life size whale joining us! Only 5 days away from Family Fun Friday-June 19! There will be many activities including a "tour" of the new Cobleigh Public Library bookmobile! There will be many activities to enjoy and of course a special live performance by Pirate Man Dan! The Lyndon Farmers Market is open at the same time! All are welcome!
