LeadingAge Kentucky (formerly KAHSA) was founded in 1977. The association represents not-for-profit and eligible proprietary, community, church and government sponsored homes, retirement communities, and social service programs for the elderly. LeadingAge Kentucky members include nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for the mentally re****ed, personal care facilities, assisted living f
acilities, independent housing units, continuing care retirement communities, seniors programs and multi-facility agencies offering direct care. LeadingAge Kentucky members meet the needs of others through the community outreach services that include home health care, congregated, and other programs. LeadingAge Kentucky is affiliated with LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA), Washington, DC. The mission of LeadingAge Kentucky is to provide services to members that will enhance the quality of life of those we serve by:
