Lyndhurst Garden Club invite you to a dazzling program this Thursday, June 4. Our program is titled “Nature’s Palette : The Plant Kingdom.” Our guest speaker is Beryl Prusinoski. Plants use color to thrive and to communicate. We will learn how vegetables telegraph their nutrition via stunning hues, experience colors that only pollinators can see, and uncover the mechanisms behind the dazzling display of autumn leaves. Beryl is a statistian and worked in the chemistry industry for 40 years. This promises to be a very interesting program.
As always, our social time begins at 6:30 PM, our program starts at 7 PM, followed by our general meeting. Guests are welcome.
Lyndhurst Community Center is located at 1341 Parkview Drive. We look forward to seeing you there! Happy gardening! 😊🪴💕🌷🌱👍

Friends, please mark your calendars and get healthy with the Lyndhurst Garden Club on Thursday, March 5th. Our speaker Geoffrey Rapp will discuss the medicinal value of some of the common Ohio plants that surround us in his talk titled “Ohio’s Herbal Apothecary.” He will share how plants have been used for centuries for their health benefits and why they are so effective.
Geoff is a retired scientist, teacher, and business executive with degrees from Kent State University and Cleveland State University. He is currently the president of CauseMark LLC and founder of Fantastic Foragers.
There are so many health benefits to gardening (as you know), and there are many health benefits to an evening with the Lyndhurst Garden Club too. Our social time (and yummy snacks) is 6:30 to 7 PM, our program is from 7 to 8 PM, followed by our general meeting. As always, we meet in the Lyndhurst Community Center, 1341 Parkview Rd. Guests are welcome!
